Twitter Offers UK Businesses £1000 Credit For Good Twitter Business Stories

Large numbers of UK small businesses (SMEs) have yet to take full advantage of Twitters advertising platform.  Some may have not even heard of the service or aware of how it can be accessed. It was once thought of as a platform for cash rich and advertising big corporates with budgets in excess of $100,000 that could have access to the power of twitter.

A lot has changed over the past year, with twitter looking to generate revenue; the price tag along with the spending power has come down somewhat since then, it’s now possible to tap into twitters advertising platform for a meagre £1000.

To make this even better, twitter is offering a £1K advertising credit to UK businesses. All you have to do is tell twitter how you’ve used Twitter for your UK business for the chance to win up to £1,000 in Twitter advertising credit.

Whats the catch (how to enter):
The chance here is for you as the business owner to tell your storey of how you use twitter to promote your business, communicate with your customers (followers), how you reach out to new ones, how you’ve used Twitter to engage your customers and other benefits you have gained. The best or good stories will be selected by twitter for the prize. Tweet using the hashtag #ukbizstories @TwitterUK

This offer is valid until July 30, 2012 and is open to UK businesses only. Winners will be contacted via Twitter and/or email. Looking for inspiration? Check out this recent post on Tweet local

And of course there is the small print:
Not all advertisers and businesses who submit entries will win free media. By submitting a testimonial, you grant Twitter permission to share your testimonial (including your name, profile picture, and any other text or media associated with your Twitter account) in case studies, presentations and other promotional materials. Twitter may work with those businesses we have selected to find the right Promoted Products to promote their account and Tweets.
Let us know if you win the £1000 credit from Twitter.
